The government of the Republic of Korea will provide US$1,000,000 in humanitarian aid to Los Angeles County, California, which has suffered a significant loss of life and property due to the large-scale wildfires that occurred on January 7. The aid will be provided through a local public charity.

The ROK government hopes that the humanitarian aid to Los Angeles County would support recovery efforts in the affected areas and assist residents in swiftly returning to their daily lives.
